ComOps Secures 5 year – $1m Significant Software Contract

  • Contract is with State Transit Authority of New South Wales for Sydney buses to implement and manage COM’s Microster transport and workforce logistics software
  • 5 year contract – strengthens and diversifies COM’s recurring revenue base
  • Up to $750,000 of contract value to be booked in CY2018 with balance booked as recurring revenue out to 2022

APM Terminals goes live with ComOps Workforce Management at Port of Salalah, Oman.

SYDNEY: ComOps Limited (ASX.COM), the global leader in workforce management solutions for the ports industry, announces that it has recently completed the first phase of the implementation of its market leading workforce management solution, ComOps WFM-Ports, into the APM Terminal at Port of Salalah in Oman.

With over 2200 staff, Port of Salalah is recognised as one of the largest container ports in the Middle East Region, with an approximate volume of 3.3 million TEU (twenty-foot equivalent units) annually. In 2016, it was recognised as the World’s fastest growing port (of the 126 ports handling greater than 1 million TEU) with annual growth of 29%.

Port of Salalah chose ComOps WFM-Ports, which is a tailored workforce management solution for the ports industry, to simplify the complex requirements of a port’s workforce. It does this by uniquely managing the time and attendance, rostering and scheduling, and allowing for dynamic optimisation of the often irregular workload of a busy port.

The second phase of the project, due to be delivered in October 2017, will be to add a leave management module to the system to support the Port of Salalah workforce.
